ZDHC InConnect, an online virtual meeting to assist the supply chain to have a dialogue, connection, discussion, seek solutions and finally implement solutions to specific issues. ZDHC will host several ZDHC InConnect sessions in September and October 2020. In September, the topic is Hazardous Chemicals Substitution (DMFa Substitution), with a total of 4 sessions as follows:
DMFa is a hazardous solvent widely used in polyurethane (PU) industry. It is listed on the ZDHC MRSL V2.0 Candidate List to raise attention and call for action for substitution. In recent years, more and more chemical companies and PU mills focus on DMFa Substitution Innovation. Water-based PU technology and solvent-free PU technology are two main popular and effective substitution solutions. ZDHC will invite two representatives from chemical companies and PU mills as our panelists in ZDHC InConnect to deeply understand why these technologies can substitute DMFa, what challenges the value chain is facing during the substitution, how value chain are hand in hand to solve the issues and share their success stories.

N，N-二甲基甲酰胺（DMFa）是一种广泛应用于聚氨酯（PU）行业的有害溶剂，同时也被列入ZDHC MRSL版本2.0候选清单以引起人们的关注并呼吁采取行动以进行替代。近年来，越来越多的化学品公司和PU工厂专注于DMFa的替代。水性聚氨酯技术和无溶剂聚氨酯技术是最主要的替代方案。ZDHC将邀请这两种技术的化学品企业和PU工厂的代表做客ZDHC会客厅与参会者进行深入对话，包括但不限于为什么这些技术可以替代DMFa, 替代过程中价值链面临哪些挑战，价值链如何携手解决问题以及分享他们的成功故事。
