To improve data accuracy and streamline supplier identity management, we made a change that affects how suppliers and formulators interact with Open Supply Hub (OS Hub) IDs on the ZDHC Gateway.
🔒 What Changed?
Now, suppliers and formulators are no longer be able to create a new OS Hub ID via the ZDHC Gateway.
- The “Find or Register New Open Supply Hub (OS) ID” component was be removed from the right-hand side of the OS Hub section.
- The “Look up an Existing OS ID” feature remains available, allowing users to search for and link existing IDs.
Important: This change only impacts the creation of new OS Hub IDs. Existing OS Hub IDs and all associated functionality remains unchanged.
🌍 Why It Matters: The Importance of Linking an OS Hub ID
The OS Hub ID is a unique identifier tied to a specific manufacturing facility. Linking it to your ZDHC Gateway profile ensures your site is accurately recognised across platforms, strengthening transparency and trust throughout the supply chain.
By having and linking an OS Hub ID:
