November 28, 2022

Announcement

Since 01 November 2022, the ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines V1.1 have no longer been effective. Within the transition period for the updated version to come into effect, as announced in March 2022, ZDHC incorporated stakeholder feedback in this month’s update. ZDHC is pleased to announce that the updates to the ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines have now been reflected in its Version 2.1, published and effective as of today. We urge all of our stakeholders to study the ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines Industry Standard Implementation Approach V1.0 to understand how to implement the ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines V2.1.

This update includes the release of the following documents:

  • ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines V2.1
  • ZDHC ZDHC Wastewater and Sludge Laboratory Sampling and Analysis Plan V2.1
  • ZDHC Gateway Electronic Data Reporting System Guidelines V3.0
  • ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines Industry Standard Implementation Approach V1.0

Updated: ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines V2.1

  • We adjusted content in standard test methods and requirements for wastewater and sludge.
  • We added a footnote in Table 6 related to the parameter for “Fecal Coliform”.
  • We specified  test report requirements.
  • We added Appendix D and E.
