Updates - ZDHC at FILO, Life Cascade Project and more!

ZDHC actively participated in several key industry events throughout February, promoting sustainable chemical management and innovation in the textile and fashion sectors.

ZDHC at FILO

At the 63rd edition of FILO*, ZDHC hosted a panel titled ‘InCheck Reports and ZDHC Programme Implementation: From Performance to Third-Party Verification’  The session featured insights from Albini Group and Tintoria e Finissaggio 2000, both of whom shared their practical experiences with In Check Reports. Their feedback provided valuable perspectives on how these reports support transparency and performance measurement in chemical management.

As well at the ZDHC stand we presented the Life Cascade project, where partners answered questions from the public and provided insights into the project's mission and objectives. More updates on this project to come.

Collaboration with CID

ZDHC participated in the Annual Assembly of the Consorzio Italiano Implementazione Detox (CID). As a ZDHC Signatory, CID plays a vital role in promoting responsible chemical management within the Italian textile industry. ZDHC emphasised the importance of CID's commitment to sustainability and highlighted its support for their initiatives.

The Fashion to Come Webinar

ZDHC also contributed to the webinar "The Fashion to Come: Numbers, Trends, and Solutions for Sustainable Innovation," organised by 4 sustainability. The webinar explored sustainability challenges and trends in the fashion industry. ZDHC shared insights on chemical management and impact reduction strategies, emphasising the role of its tools and guidelines in supporting responsible practices. It drew from insights from key reports such as The State of Fashion 2025 by The Business of Fashion and McKinsey & Company, the GFA Monitor Update 2024, and Deloitte’s Global Retail Outlook 2024.

ZDHC shared valuable insights on chemical management and impact reduction strategies. The contribution emphasised the critical role of ZDHC’s tools and guidelines in supporting brands and manufacturers to implement responsible chemical management practices effectively.
